TEST SCORING

OIRPS offers test scoring services for the University of Arizona community. Departmental representatives may order these services at our office in the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Building, Room 202, phone 621-7337. Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

We also have 200-item answer sheets . To purchase these answer sheets, the representative needs to fill out an Order Form. At the end of the month, OIRPS will bill the department for its purchases.

The cost is $.15 each for the 200-item answer sheet, and $.60 a sheet for machine test scoring. Floppy disks (for report output) are available for $2.50 each. An answer key created by using one of the 200-item answer sheets should be placed on the top of each test to be scored.

Instructors have a choice of report formats. They may choose a Student Listing Report (Individual Test Results Report) sorted by name or identification number, or a Student Error Report (Individual Item Response Report) sorted by name or identification number. Reports can be printed with one student per page, or all students on a page. Instructors may also choose to have printed an Absolutely Frequency and Score Distributions Report, and an Item Analysis Report for each test. Output can be printed or saved on a (PC) 3 1/2" floppy disk as fixed length fields records or as comma delimited fields records.
